SPONSOR A WILDLIFE CARER... "My name is Jenny and I have been a Brisbane based wild life carer for the past 20 years mainly concentrating on macropods and flying foxes. I belong to two wildlife groups, Wildcare Australia and Fauna. Currently I have 9 kangaroos and 5 wallabies in care and my main expense is their milk and macropod pellets. I use on average 130-150kgs of milk and 1 tonne of macropod pellets per year. I have my own release site for the wallabies, hence the large amount of pellets I use - the kangaroos are taken to a release site out west and I take 2 x 20kg bags of pellets with each animal that I release".
